Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join the team in our new store based in Newcastle.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.64 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Retail Supervisors play a vital role in supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position working 16 hours per week. Ideal candidates are energetic, driven, and passionate about working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards customer service, leadership skills, stamina for fast-paced work, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role, is required.

Key activities:

1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
2. Open & close the store, including cashing up and administrative duties.
3. Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong product knowledge.
4. Promote and recommend products to enhance sales.
5. Assist management in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
6. Support team members as needed.
7. Ensure proper merchandising and attractive product displays.
8. Manage stock deliveries and transfers.
9. Handle customer queries and complaints.
