Job Title: Retail Supervisor

Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our team at the Rotherham store.

Purpose: To support the store management team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience to customers.

Salary: Up to £13.41 per hour + non-contractual hourly sales commission.

Position Details: This is a part-time, permanent role, contracted for 12 hours per week.

Ideal Candidate: Energetic, driven, passionate about retail, with a positive attitude towards customer service, team leadership, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements: Previous retail experience, ideally with supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  2. Open and close the store, including cashing up and administrative duties.
  3. Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong product knowledge.
  4. Promote and recommend products to enhance sales.
  5. Assist management in achieving store sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Support team members as needed.
  7. Ensure proper merchandising and attractive product displays.
  8. Handle stock deliveries and store transfers.
  9. Address customer queries and resolve complaints.
Personal Characteristics:
  • Ability to follow management instructions for additional tasks.
  • Supervisory experience with cashing up and banking.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Capable of motivating, coaching, and working with a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to serve all customers.
  • Drive to exceed performance targets.
  • Methodical with attention to detail, including stock management.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
  • Flexible to work any day from Monday to Sunday, 12 hours per week.
