Job Title: Retail Supervisor

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Retail Supervisor to assist with the smooth running of operations within a university campus, for our Universities sector on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising a small team, fostering a positive, welcoming environment

• Using the till, taking orders, and processing payments
• Assisting with weekly bookkeeping and other duties
• Producing weekly rotas following managerial guidelines
• Placing stock orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels
• Delegating tasks and encouraging proactivity within the team
• Ensuring compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and customers
• Knowledge of legislation and compliance with staff policies regarding uniform, hygiene, health, and safety
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Well-groomed with pride in personal appearance
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure
