Screwfix is hiring a Retail Supervisor to lead a small team in our Rayleigh store. You’ll guide customers, set standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while delivering excellent service.

We’re looking for an experienced supervisor used to fast-paced environments, with a focus on teamwork, accuracy, and creating a positive customer experience. Training and career progression are supported with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor or duty manager managing a small team.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability drive sales.
• Curious, inquisitive and continuously improving.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-store as a host and guide customers to the right products.
• Maintain store standards including cash reconciliations, queries, audits and stock management.

Opening hours:

• Monday - Friday (7am to 8pm)
• Saturday (7am to 6pm)
• Sunday (9am to 4pm)

Key responsibilities

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE A RETAIL SUPERVISOR?

• Host – you’ll be the team leader, hosting in store, setting an example of what great looks like. You’ll understand what your customers need, guide them to the right products, and make it super easy for them
• Store standards – you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly from cash reconciliations, to customer queries, audit compliancy and stock management.
• Part of the team – you’ll join a team who take pride in their store, working together and having lots of fun along the way!

Required Skills & Experience

• An experienced supervisor or duty manager who is used to managing a small team in a fast-paced environment
• Great at giving amazing customer service, and able to translate that into sales
• Inquisitive, ever-questioning and ever-improving
