Screwfix is seeking an Retail Supervisor to lead in-store operations, guide customers to products and uphold service standards.

You’ll manage a small team, drive sales, and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering outstanding customer care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experienced supervisor or duty manager used to leading a small team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with ability to translate into sales.
• Friendly, flexible, reliable and hardworking with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Host in-store as the team leader, guiding customers to the right products and delivering great service.
• Maintain store standards including cash reconciliations, customer queries, audits and stock management.
• Be a proactive team player who helps the store run smoothly and supports colleagues.

Opening hours

• Monday - Friday (7am to 8pm)
• Saturday (7am to 6pm)
• Sunday (9am to 4pm)

Key responsibilities

What’s it like to be a Retail Supervisor?

• Host – you’ll be the team leader, hosting in store, setting an example of what great looks like. You’ll understand what your customers need, guide them to the right products, and make it super easy for them
• Store standards – you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly from cash reconciliations, to customer queries, audit compliancy and stock management.
• Part of the team – you’ll join a team who take pride in their store, working together and having lots of fun along the way!

Required Skills & Experience

You are…

• An experienced supervisor or duty manager who is used to managing a small team in a fast‑paced environment
• Great at giving amazing customer service, and able to translate that into sales
• Inquisitive, ever‑questioning and ever‑improving
• Passionate about our business
• Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest and like to work hard!
