Overview

Customer Team Leader

Location: Calver Road, Baslow, DE45 1RP

Pay: £13.99 per hour

Contract: 30-39 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, full or part time hours

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

As a Customer Team Leader, youll be part of a friendly team thats dedicated to helping our customers. Well look to you to help lead the store team - coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like restocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you'll do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service - youll give friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations
  • Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyones voice is valued and respected
  • Make sure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational
  • Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for our customers
  • Support your store manager by deputising when theyre not working and delivering a variety of HR processes
  • Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store - work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback
  • Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan
