Retail Store Manager
Basingstoke
Salary up to £28,000pa + Bonus

This is a fantastic opportunity!
This role involves working in a fast-paced, high footfall environment. As a Manager, you will be responsible for various functions of the store, including team development, driving store performance, customer service, stock management, and liaising with head office.
You should bring strong management skills, be energetic and motivating, and actively engage on the shop floor to lead the team and inspire customers. Your analytical skills will help you make commercial decisions to ensure optimal stock placement and availability.

As Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving sales with a customer-centric approach
• Managing daily store operations and meeting sales targets
• Overseeing employee activities such as customer service, inventory, cash reconciliation, and visual merchandising
• Delegating tasks to team members
• Managing the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews
• Overseeing stock inventory management

Requirements for the Store Manager role:

• A passion for inspiring the team to excel on the high street
• At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• Knowledge of stockroom management
• Strong communication skills, with confidence in liaising with senior stakeholders
• Commercial awareness and a keen eye for visual merchandising
