Job summary

OKA is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager for the OKA Outlet in Bicester. You will support leadership of the retail team, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service across in-store and phone channels.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will coach staff, manage KPI performance and oversee store operations, stock, and visuals while championing OKA's brands and services for a vibrant shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Proven retail management experience with at least 1 year in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or equivalent people-management role.
• Experience leading a retail team, coaching, motivating and managing performance.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience working toward sales targets and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations, stepping up in their absence.
• Drive sales performance, revenue targets and KPI outcomes.
• Lead and coach the store team to deliver strong performance.
• Create a commercially focused environment and maximise sales.
• Maintain high standards of customer service across touchpoints.
• Oversee store operations, cash/EPOS, stock and back-office tasks.
• Plan and deploy staff to ensure efficient store coverage.
• Maintain visual/presentation standards and present products well.
• Promote OKA's Home Styling and Interior Design services.
