We’re seeking a motivated store assistant to join Cancer Research UK’s trading team. You’ll be an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, helping your community understand our brand and see the great work we do.

What will I be doing?

1. Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
2. Working as part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
3. Maintaining shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding, and health & safety.
4. Building relationships with your community and colleagues.
5. Supporting fundraising events to meet targets.
6. Taking keyholder responsibilities (training provided).

What skills are you looking for?

• Understanding of great customer service.
• Experience in busy customer service environments.
• Ability to manage workload and work independently.
• Teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll have an interest or understanding of fashion and retail experience.

Our retail teams work on a rota basis; flexibility is needed but we value work-life balance.
