Job description

About Us : Orridge, a leading stocktaking provider to Retail, Supply Chain, and Pharmacy, is seeking a Retail Stocktaking Supervisor to join our successful team. As a Retail Stocktaking Supervisor, you will manage a team of stocktakers on client premises while conducting stocktakes. Full training will be provided, and no prior stocktake experience is required.

Standard Hourly Rate: £12.80

Bonus Scheme: Up to £360 per month

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of stocktake colleagues, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
  • Conduct stocktakes using our bespoke stocktaking system.
  • Liaise with clients throughout the stocktake process.
  • Follow client-specific procedures and meet service level agreements.
  • Mentor new stocktakers and address any queries related to stocktaking.
  • Achieve productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Deliver accurate electronic count data and supporting information on time.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions.
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage a busy workload.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Flexibility.
  • Full driving license.
Additional Notes:
  • Manual handling and working at height activities are part of the role.
  • Travel to different locations within the region is required.
