Job summary
Search Consultancy is recruiting experienced Shopfitting Electricians for a fast-paced retail refurbishment project in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. You will undertake high-volume first and second-fix electrical work to exacting standards within tight timelines.
Candidates with JIB Gold Card or JIB Blue/CSCS card, NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation, and BS7671 18th Edition are sought, with a strong commercial fit-out background preferred. Immediate starts available.
Qualifications
- Experience in heavy-volume first and second fix electrical installation.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- JIB Gold/Card or JIB Blue/CSCS Card required; BS7671 18th Edition knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Containment & first fix installation across retail display and back-of-house areas.
- Wiring sub-main distribution boards, power circuits, data, and emergency lighting.
- Display and architectural lighting installation including track lighting and LEDs.
- Second fix & accessories installation of high-end outlets, switches, and power drops.
- Testing, dead/live checks and QA ahead of handover milestones.
- Site health and safety adherence and working at height.
