Retail Manager - Imjin Barracks

• £32,572 per annum
• 37.5 hours per week
• 5 days over 7
• Overseeing a Costcutter Retail Store

Responsibilities will include:

• Promoting a safety culture and ensuring your team are aware of safety procedures.
• Ensuring the Compass Service Framework policies, procedures, and controlled documents are up to date and correctly implemented, including HSE standards.
• Managing stock levels, promotions, waste, and merchandising.
• Managing the retail labour, equipment, and resources budget.
• Completing HR procedures for the team.
• Managing and maintaining all planograms according to company procedures.
• Completing rotas and timesheets (Ourtime) to optimize sales opportunities.
• Conducting Mid Term and End of Year reviews with retail staff.
• Attending weekly huddles and team chats with all retail staff.
• Managing the team in line with company procedures.
• Conducting customer journey and quality audits.
• Ensuring all banking and daily safe reconciliations are completed per company procedures and safeguarding company and client property, cash, stock, and equipment within the retail area.
• Role modeling the ESS Way behaviors at all times.
• Implementing all company, client, and legal requirements, processes, and procedures effectively.

Person Specification

• An enthusiastic individual passionate about working in retail.
• An outstanding communicator capable of liaising confidently with customers and clients, leading, engaging, and developing team members.
• Minimum of 12 months experience managing a busy store-based retail environment.
• Knowledge and experience of driving profitable sales growth.
• IT literate.
• Good numeracy skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data, e.g., sales data.
• Ability to work flexibly according to business needs, including attending off-site meetings.
