We are looking for a Retail Shop Cover Manager (also known as Retail Divisional Support Manager) to support Scope shops in the Yorkshire and Humberside area. The role involves working closely with Divisional Managers to ensure shops operate smoothly during vacancies or sickness, maximizing sales and profit. It requires traveling across the division to support multiple shops.
The role offers variety, including stock management, window displays, and volunteer recruitment and training. Candidates should have retail experience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
About you: You should be passionate about retail, have a love of fashion, and experience in shop management or seeking a management role as your next career step. A commercial mindset, customer focus, teamwork, attention to detail, IT skills, and creativity are essential. Flexibility to travel within the division is required.
Working in our shops means engaging with local communities, leading volunteers, and raising funds to support disabled people. The position is permanent, 35 hours per week, based in Yorkshire and Humberside, supporting shops in Anlaby, Batley, Morley, Scarborough, and Whitby. Travel allowance is provided.
Shop hours vary, including weekends and Bank Holidays, with a five-day workweek.
