Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an on-site Security Officer in Salford to protect property, people and assets in line with AI's and contractual SLAs. You will deliver results, stay compliant with UK law, and undertake ongoing training to develop your skills.

The role requires an SIA license and may require SC clearance. You will be part of a team that maintains safety, reports incidents, and supports continuous service improvements across client sites.

Qualifications

• Proven security experience on site.
• SIA license required.
• SC clearance desirable.
• License renewals within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow Assignment Instructions (AI's) and UK law.
• Complete tasks on site as defined in AI's.
• Review AI changes to improve service.
• Obtain and wear front-line licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence.
• Comply with safety requirements of the role.
• Follow instructions without unnecessarily challenging authority.
• Work in a systematic, orderly way and maintain records.
• Call emergency services and report incidents as required.
