Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a well-known Inverness store. The role is full-time (40+ hours weekly) with weekend flexibility. You will patrol the premises, greet customers and help maintain safety for staff and visitors.

Applicants should hold an SIA license, have a 5-year work history, and be physically fit with the ability to work under pressure. Previous security experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required.
• Minimum 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit to perform tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Handing out baskets.
• Greeting customers.
• Monitoring entry and exit points and investigating disturbances.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Managing large crowds and maintaining positive customer relations.
