BardWood Support Services is hiring a Retail Security Officer to patrol store premises, monitor entrances and exits, and respond to emergencies. You will ensure safety for staff and visitors at a busy retail location and handle theft-detection devices with professionalism.

Flexible weekend shifts are required; successful candidates will have a current SIA license, a 5-year checkable history, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• SIA license is required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
