About The Role

Position: Retail Security Officer

Location: Swatch Cardiff, CF10 1GA

Hourly Rate: £12.60 - £14.12* (* pay rate inclusive of holiday pay)

Schedule: 4 on 4 off shift pattern. 10 -12 hour shifts available

We are seeking experienced and professional Security Officers with a natural talent for retail security to join us in Keeping People Safe at Swatch in Cardiff.

Swatch, JD Sports, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Russel & Bromley enlist our highly trained security teams to provide excellent customer service and comprehensive protection of assets in their stores.

A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence or SIA Security Guarding Licence is required for this role.

Your Main Duties Will Include:

• Maintain in-store PPE (Radios, Body Cams, Pagers)
• Maintain a high level of vigilance throughout the shift whilst observing the store discreetly.
• Patrol and monitor security cameras to ensure the safety of all customers and staff
• Engage with customers and offer assistance if needed
• Escort unwelcome customers from the site when necessary
• Look out for abnormalities around the site
• Report observations or actions to store management and document appropriately
• Protect assets and prevent loss
• Protect stores from theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities
• Provide a welcoming environment to all customers and staff
• Respond promptly to security issues
• Implement and enforce store policies and procedures
• Handle difficult customers professionally
• Report suspicious behaviour or activity to authorities
• Maintain accurate incident records and detailed reports for management
