Job summary

Lodge Service is seeking a vigilant Security Officer in Portsmouth to protect staff, customers and stock while maintaining a professional presence on the shop floor.

The role requires a valid SIA license, UK right to work, and strong customer service with a smart appearance. You will work closely with store management to deter theft and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• This role requires a valid SIA license and UK right to work with a 5-year history.
• Strong customer service skills and a smart appearance are essential.
• Ability to follow procedures and stay calm under pressure is required.
• Retail security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect staff, stock and customers.
• Prevent theft and act as a visible deterrent.
• Partner with store management teams to ensure safety.
• Deliver professionalism and outstanding customer service.
• Use ASCONE for shoplifting prevention and incident reporting.
• Ensure the safety of employees and customers at all times.
• Maintain a proactive security presence on the shop floor.
