Overview

Better places, thriving communities. Vacancy Reference Number: 84203. Region: North. Job title: Permanent full-time position with a set roster pattern. Location: JS Throckley. Pay rate: £12.60. Hours: 45 hours per week. Mitie is looking for a retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances). Vetting requires a full 5-year checkable employment/education history; failure to do so could mean your offer will be withdrawn or your employment stopped.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver industry leading customer service.
  • Deter violence and public order offences.
  • Conduct patrols of the store.
  • Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
  • Liaise with the store management teams.
  • Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store.
  • Wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety.
