Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect shoppers and staff on the shop floor. You’ll deter theft, provide help, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment while supporting store teams and local policing partnerships.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, a 5-year checkable history, and a proactive, professional, customer-focused approach, with contracted hours and ongoing training. A strong start in a vital retail safety position.

About The Role

We're looking for a confident, approachable Retail Security Officer who can bring energy, professionalism and a calm presence to the shop floor. This is a role where no two days are the same as you'll be helping to protect people, prevent loss and create a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues alike.
