Main Responsibilities

We understand that deterring criminal activity involves understanding vulnerabilities and risks at each location. As a Retail Security Officer, you will provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports, and collaborate with local authorities.

You will be responsible for guarding duties such as:

  • Patrolling the shop floor to deter criminal activity
  • Assessing vulnerabilities and proactively minimizing risks
  • Liaising with management and local authorities
  • Managing vulnerable persons with empathy
  • Conducting searches in line with company policy
  • Reporting incidents digitally and using mobile devices for planning
  • Providing detailed incident reports to assist clients and authorities
Location and Hours

Location: Connahs Quay

Hours: 46 hours/week

Shift Pattern: Wednesday to Saturday, 12:00 - 22:00; Sunday, 10:00 - 16:00

Compensation and Person Specification

Hourly Rate: £12.60

To be effective, you should be a confident communicator, able to provide detailed verbal and written accounts, welcoming and patient with customers, and capable of handling conflicts professionally.
