Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking a professional Retail Security Officer to join Tesco Chester-le-Street, DH3 3TF. You will provide a highly visible security presence, deter theft and maintain a safe shopping environment. Own transport is required due to the location.

This is a full-time permanent role, 40 hours per week with Wed–Sun shifts from 06:00–15:00 or 16:00–24:00, at £13.47 per hour. The role involves patrols, incident reporting, CCTV monitoring, and delivering first-class customer

Qualifications

• A Valid SIA licence is essential.
• Retail security experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Own transport is required.
• Candidates living within the DH postcode area are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and highly visible security presence within the store.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally in line with company procedures.
• Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
• Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
• Support store management with loss prevention initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.
• Work closely with store management and colleagues to support operational requirements.

About The Role

Kingdom Group is looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Chester-le-Street, DH3 3TF.

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to provide a highly visible security presence within the store, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors. Due to the location and operational requirements of the role, own transport is required.

Shift Pattern

• Wednesday
• Thursday
• Friday
• Saturday
• Sunday

Shift Times

• 06:00 to 15:00 or
• 16:00 to 24:00

Working 5 to 6 days per week as required by the business.

Flexibility may be required to meet operational needs.
