Base pay range

$25,936.20/yr - $25,936.20/yr

Retail Sales Merchandiser – Peterborough (6-9 months FTC)

Salary: £25,936.20 + Company Van (new fleet due to be rolled out) vehicle can be used for personal use, Fuel card provided with claimable rate in line with pump costs + up to £800 per annum potential execution bonus paid quarterly.

Tax-free expense allowance: £520pa in addition to salary

Type of contract: Fixed-Term Contract for 6-9 months

Schwartz is currently looking for a full-time Retail Sales Merchandiser to cover Peterborough and surrounding areas (Kings Lynn, Wisbech, Cromer, Fakenham and Downham Market).

Working 40 hours each week Monday – Saturday (with Wednesday off). This role offers some flexibility, especially with start times. No scheduled Sunday work, only required at Christmas, when double pay applies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage store contact relationships within major supermarkets such as Tesco, ASDA, and Morrisons.
• Use technology to maintain product availability and record excellent execution in stores.
• Deliver stock daily to ensure 100% product availability on shelves and compliance with store plans.
• Maintain store records, including inventory management.
• Support other brands within the McCormick family when required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Full UK driving license (essential), right to work in the UK, and a UK bank account.
• Ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude with strong relationship management skills in store environments.
• Enjoy working on the road and independently.
• Team player willing to share ideas and best practices.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Comfortable with technology.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
• Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or hospitality (e.g., bar or waiting staff) is advantageous.
