Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant in Bangor to support in-store operations and merchandising. The role requires a customer-focused, friendly attitude and flexibility with hours between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Wednesday start, across a Bangor-based zone.

You may travel to nearby stores and must have access to a vehicle and full driving licence. Salary is £12.71 per hour with benefits including jewellery discounts, mileage and parking expenses paid, a pension scheme with company

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Retail or fashion brand experience is a plus.
• Must have access to a smartphone with up-to-date OS.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to visual guidelines.
• Handle deliveries and stock replenishment.
• Maintain store housekeeping to high standards.
• Set up promotional activities in-store.
• Collaborate with host teams to drive sales opportunities.

Job description

Role Title - Retail Assistant- Bangor N.W - 3.5 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 3.5 Wednesday

Working hours: The required start time for this role is between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Bangor butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines

• Putting out deliveries of new stock

• Maintaining housekeeping standards

• Setting up promotional activities

• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Please note - The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.

• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
