Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing a team of account executives and selling SAP's products and solutions to customers and prospects in the UKI Retail industry. The focus is on named accounts and new business territories, developing and driving a sales culture that overachieves revenue targets and maintains customer relationships. The role typically carries a quota.

  • Manage resources to ensure critical and innovative results.
  • Build action plans and make operational decisions on policies, tactics, and resources to ensure success against strategic objectives.
  • Achieve annual goals for the team or department.
  • Lead activities of professionals and support staff.

Experience

  • Progressively increasing managerial experience.
  • At least 15 years of professional sales experience in a corporate software sales organization.

  • Build strategic partnerships with key decision-makers in customer and partner organizations.
  • Represent SAP to customers and partners.
  • Encourage team cooperation and open expression of opinions.
  • Set clear objectives, strategies, and work assignments.
  • Communicate unpleasant messages constructively and timely.
  • Listen attentively to understand ideas and opinions.

Location

This role is based in the UK. Candidates requiring relocation are not considered.
