A leading cruise retail company is seeking a Mandarin speaking Retail Sales Associate to create exceptional retail experiences on board cruise ships. You will maximise sales, exceed targets, and work closely with premium brands. Candidates should have a strong retail background and excellent customer service skills. The role involves living and working on a cruise ship for up to 6 months at a time, with breaks at home in between contracts. Competitive salary and accommodation provided.

Are you a Mandarin speaking Retail Sales Associate, looking for a unique opportunity to sell premium and luxury brands whilst travelling to different parts of the world?

Do you have proven experience of providing excellent customer service, creating memorable and immersive experiences, allowing guests to indulge themselves in a creative and enjoyable retail environment?

What you will be doing

• Living and working on a cruise ship (you could be anywhere in the world!)
• Creating an exceptional and memorable retail experience for guests on board
• Maximising sales by promoting a quality range of products through a variety of in-store events
• Developing detailed and extensive knowledge of all products as well as the brand culture
• Exceeding sales targets and participating in promotional events such as fashion shows and presentations

Who you are

• Strong retail background and knowledge of premium or luxury products
• Mandarin speaking
• Excellent face to face customer service and sales ability, utilising strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
• Proven ability in showcasing luxury items
• Adaptable to change and able to work in a high-pressure environment
• A strong team player who is goal orientated
