About Prospect Hospice

Our shops are the heart of our charity and the community. By selling pre-loved items and promoting sustainable shopping, we raise funds to provide exceptional care for those living with life-limiting illnesses. As part of our retail team, you’ll directly contribute to delivering vital care at our hospice in Wroughton.

What is the role?

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure every shopper feels welcome.
  • Take an active role in driving sales and presenting attractive displays.
  • Work closely with volunteers, fostering a friendly and collaborative environment.
  • Be an ambassador for Prospect Hospice and promote our charity’s values.

This role is perfect if you’re enthusiastic about fashion, second-hand shopping, or upcycling, and want to gain valuable retail experience.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A friendly, team-focused attitude.
  • A passion for sustainable fashion and trends.
  • Great customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus, but not essential – we’ll train you!
Additional Information:
  • Applicants must be over 18 due to key-holder responsibilities.
  • You’ll need access to transportation, as you may be asked to work at other shop locations.
  • You may be asked to work additional hours if needed.
We offer a great range of benefits, including:
  • 27 days holiday FTE plus bank holidays (rising with length of service)
  • Generous contributory pension scheme and life assurance
  • Discounts with local retailers, gyms and service providers including Blue Light Discount Card
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Supportive induction, training and development
