The Role

As a Sales Assistant, you will support your store team in driving sales performance and daily operations. You will deliver exceptional customer service to optimise KPIs and enhance the shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

At Majestic Wine, our Customers are at the heart of everything we do. You will act as an ambassador for your store, supporting the team to provide an outstanding shopping experience.

We are looking for individuals who:

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting targets through KPI delivery
• Deliver exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business
• Offer personalized VIP concierge services, keeping customers updated on products and tastings
• Share your passion for products with in-depth knowledge of our range
• Take ownership of your wine knowledge, supporting your WSET qualification and confidence in selling
• Maintain the store’s appearance and manage operational tasks like stock deliveries and merchandising
• Identify and suggest improvements to optimise store operations
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements
• Support and mentor junior team members and uphold Majestic’s Ways of Working
• As a key holder, confidently operate the store independently during opening and closing

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Excellent time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
• Proactive attitude with a passion for problem-solving
• Adaptability and resilience to changing demands
• Strong communication skills
• Wine knowledge is beneficial, but a passion to learn and pass level 2 WSET is essential
• Full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
