Majestic Wine Wilmslow is looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and driven individual who wants to grow and develop in a company that's revolutionising retail!

The Role

As a Sales Assistant/Driver, you’ll support your store team by driving sales performance and managing daily store operations. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service to optimise KPI performance. This role involves meeting and talking to different customers daily, providing great service with a smile. It is hands-on, physical, and varied.

Key Responsibilities

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be an ambassador for your store, supporting the team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

We are looking for people who:

  1. Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting the team to meet and exceed targets through KPI focus.
  2. Provide market-leading customer service to encourage loyalty and repeat purchases.
  3. Offer VIP concierge services, actively contacting customers about products and tastings.
  4. Share your passion for products, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of our range.
  5. Take ownership of your wine knowledge, supporting your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
  6. Maintain the store’s appearance and cleanliness, both inside and outside.
  7. Participate in operational tasks such as delivering wine, merchandising, stock deliveries, and customer calls to boost sales.
  8. Identify opportunities for improvement and work with your team to implement solutions.
  9. Follow internal policies to ensure safety, legality, and compliance.
  10. Model Majestic’s Ways of Working and support junior team members, providing feedback to your Store Manager.
  11. As a key holder, understand opening and closing procedures and operate the store independently if needed.
  12. Be willing to deliver wine around the local area using company vans, if required.
Knowledge & Skills Required
  • Excellent time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable and resilient to change.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Wine knowledge is a plus, but passion to learn and pass level 2 WSET is essential.
