Majestic is the UK’s largest specialist wine retailer, operating a network of stores nationwide. The Role

As a Sales Assistant, you will support your store team in driving sales and ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximise sales opportunities and support targets through KPI focus
• Provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business
• Engage customers with product knowledge and personalized service
• Support store operations, including stock delivery, merchandising, and customer outreach
• Maintain store appearance and ensure safety and compliance
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as a key holder

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and delegation skills
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient
• Effective communication skills
• Passion for wine and willingness to learn, with a goal to achieve WSET Level 2
• Valid full UK/EU/EEA driving license held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points

• Driving a company van is essential; a full UK manual driver’s license held for at least 12 months is required
