Matalan is seeking a General Sales Assistant to deliver efficient, friendly service on the shop floor. You’ll engage with customers, drive sales and uphold our values in a fast-paced environment, with a family-like team culture and strong support from approachable managers.

You'll rotate across shop floor, till and stockroom, helping colleagues and contributing to a positive in-store experience from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and friendly service to customers on the shop floor.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets while upholding Matalan values.
• Maintain the shop floor, till area and stock room and assist colleagues as needed.
