Job Title: CEX Retail Sales Assistant (Northallerton)

Reality Enterprise Ltd T/A CEX is a market-leading technology retailer specialising in buying, selling and exchanging a range of technology and entertainment products. We are currently seeking a Part-time (8 Hour Contract) Retail Sales Assistant for our Northallerton store. The Retail Sales Assistant will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through effective communication and interacting with customers on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities:

- Providing excellent customer service to all customers and ensuring their needs are met.
- Assisting customers with their purchases, including providing advice on products and pricing information.
- Handling cash transactions, managing payment transactions and ensuring till accuracy.
- Processing customer orders, ensuring they are delivered and dispatched on time.
- Maintaining the store’s visual merchandising standards to ensure it is always clean and tidy.
- Assisting with stock management and inventory control.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a customer-facing environment would be highly desirable.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with strong numeracy skills.
- Good verbal communication skills are essential, along with a proactive and outgoing attitude.
- A keen interest in technology and an awareness of current trends in the market.
- Flexibility with working hours as shifts and weekend work will be required.
