Customer Service Advisor - Asda Travel Money, Accrington - Part Time

Job Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover Part Time

Hours per week: 24 hrs

Salary: £13 hour + On Target Earnings up to 7.5% of base salary

Working Patterns: This job is suitable for those who are flexible and able to work various shifts between Monday to Sunday. Depending on your team, you will receive a monthly or weekly rota.

Role Overview

As part of the ASDA Travel Money Team, you will support customers with their Travel Money needs, offering great rates and excellent service whether in-store or online. You will help create a stress-free travel experience for customers heading to Europe or the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Building relationships with customers to understand their travel and currency needs
• Acting as a travel money ambassador and providing advice on Travelex products
• Processing foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently
• Meeting procedural, operational, and customer service goals
• Handling online FX requests and deliveries with attention to detail
• Adhering to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards

Candidate Requirements

• Numerically proficient, comfortable handling large sums of cash and currency conversions
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Driven to succeed, with a positive attitude and customer focus

Interview Process

1. Initial screening call with Talent Acquisition or Bureau Manager
2. Online interview including a numerical test
3. Visit to the bureau to meet the manager and see the environment
4. Job offer following successful bureau visit and reference checks
