Poltronesofà in Carlisle is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Advisor to welcome customers, help them pick the perfect furniture, and deliver a memorable shopping experience. The role is 28 hours per week across 4 days, with a competitive hourly rate and commission potential.

You don’t need prior furniture sales experience – we’ll teach you the rest if you love talking to people and delivering excellent service. A supportive team and flexible schedule await.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and help them find the perfect piece of furniture for their home.
• Accurately complete customer orders and process finance applications.
• Work towards individual sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Work within the team to deliver a 5 star customer experience.
• Keep showrooms clean and well presented, moving furniture as needed.
• Ensure the showroom is warm, friendly and safe for everyone.
• Maintain knowledge of poltronesofà products and services.
• Undertake other duties as required.

As part of our Retail team, you’ll welcome customers into our Carlisle store, help them find the perfect furniture for their home, and deliver a fantastic customer experience from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for people with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service. Offering Part-time hours designed to fit around study, family life, or other commitments

This role is for 28 hours per week across 4 days.

What does the role involve?

• Welcome customers into the store and support them in finding the perfect piece of furniture for their home
• Accurately complete customer orders and process finance applications
• Work towards individual sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service
• Work within the team to deliver a 5 star customer experience
• Make sure the showrooms look their best through general housekeeping, cleaning and moving furniture when it’s needed
• Help to make sure our showrooms are warm, friendly, safe environments for everyone within them
• Continuously develop and maintain knowledge on all poltronesofà products and services
• Undertake, as required, other duties in keeping with the general nature of the role
