Join Our Team as a Retail Recruiter at B&M Retail!
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Retail Recruiter to join our in-house recruitment team, as we continue to grow our store network. This role is based full time at our Support Centre, Speke, Liverpool.
As a Retail Recruiter, you'll play a key role in supporting the recruitment needs for a range of retail roles up to and including management, across our 750+ stores. From collaborating with hiring managers to making offers you’ll be integral in ensuring B&M attracts, selects, and retains top talent.
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in recruitment, a proven track record in filling vacancies, and a creative approach to candidate attraction. Ideally you’ll have experience working in a fast paced retail environment but this isn’t essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with hiring managers to track live roles and understand their requirements.
- Create and post job advertisements on various platforms (job boards, social media, career sites).
- Maintain and update high volumes of candidate applications in the tracking system (ATS).
- Source candidates through databases, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Screen CVs and applications to shortlist potential candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication and support.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide weekly or monthly updates.
- Assist in building and nurturing talent pipelines across the retail network.
What We're Looking For
- Proven recruitment experience, either in-house or from an agency background.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle, including onboarding.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of the recruitment market and an understanding of recruitment marketing strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- A results-driven mindset with the flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
