Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Manage multiple negotiated retail construction projects simultaneously
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other project documentation
  • Communicate regularly with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success
  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on project financials
  • Lead project team meetings and coordinate project activities with other departments within the company
  • Assist in the planning and execution of multifamily and hospitality projects as needed

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on negotiated retail construction projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget forecasting, tracking, and reporting
  • Experience using project management software and tools
  • Ambitious and driven, with a passion for achieving exceptional results
  • Familiarity with multifamily and hospitality projects a plus
