Dale Farm is recruiting a Retail Process Operative for our production facility. You will be a central part of a focused, energetic team, ensuring product quality and efficient machine operation while following company SOPs and Risk Assessments.

The role involves working in a fast-moving, results-driven environment with opportunities to contribute to improvement initiatives and skill development.

Formación

• Minimum of 12 months experience in manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG or similar.
• Minimum of 3 GCSEs including Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
• Competent in MS Office

Responsabilidades

• Ensure a quality product by checking for defects.
• Operate Machinery as per company SOPs and Risk Assessments.
• Adjust production lines as needed to avoid downtime.
• Assist and support production teams in loading and unloading materials and products as necessary.
• Keep accurate records of production activities to comply with company and legislative requirements.
• Strictly follow the departments cleaning schedule and support other functions as deemed necessary

Retail Process Operative

As a Process Operative in our Retail Production facility, you will be a central part of a focused and energetic team striving to achieve optimum levels of machine efficiency and product quality.

This is an important role within the production operation, and we are looking for candidates who are keen for responsibility, who wish to develop their skills, contribute to a winning team and be proactive to deliver improvement initiatives.

Hours of Work: Rotating shift pattern Monday - Friday 6.00am -2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm including bank holidays, as the business requires.

The Role:

• Adjust production lines as needed to avoid downtime
• Assist and support production teams in loading and unloading materials and products as necessary

The Person

• Minimum of 12 months experience in manufacturing environment, preferable FMCG or similar
• Minimum of 3 GCSEs including Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
• Competent in MS Office
• 6 months experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
• 6 months experience in Packing and/or High Care
• Relevant experience of machine operation, quality control, maintenance of production/process records and general packing duties
