ER Recruitment is working with a Leicester-based client specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality point-of-sale and retail display solutions. They seek a 3D Designer to join the creative team and turn briefs into practical, manufacturing-ready concepts.

Based in Leicester, the role focuses on creating 3D concepts, visuals and technical drawings for retail furniture and POS displays, collaborating with design, sales and production to deliver on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D design, product design, retail design, POS or related environments.
• Proficiency with 3D/CAD design software.
• Strong visualization and technical drawing skills.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Understanding of how designs translate into physical products and manufacturing.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret briefs and develop effective design solutions.
• Good communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D concepts, visuals and technical drawings for retail furniture and POS displays.
• Develop design ideas in response to client briefs.
• Provide accurate design documentation and visuals to support bids and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with sales and design teams to win new business.
• Prepare artwork and print-ready files when required.
• Develop prototypes and refine designs for manufacture.
• Work with production to understand how designs will be realised.
• Review designs and amend per client, production and project needs.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute ideas to help the business grow.
