Job summary

Burberry is hiring an Engineer, Planning & Merchandising to architect and deliver scalable planning solutions that power forecasting, allocation and inventory management. You will work within the Planning & Merchandising product team to translate business needs into technical designs and implement data integrations across ERP and analytics platforms.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience with enterprise planning technologies, strong API and data modelling skills, and collaboration

Qualifications

Experience with enterprise planning/merchandising or FP&A platforms (Board, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, o9, IBM Planning Analytics) in complex environments.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and solutions.
Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, data modelling and data transformation concepts.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and enhance Planning & Merchandising solutions across Board platform and related technologies.
Build, configure and optimise business logic, data models and planning workflows for forecasting, allocation, replenishment and inventory management.
Develop and maintain integrations between Board and enterprise platforms (SAP, PLM, data services).
Write, test and deploy technical solutions with high quality and performance.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product stakeholders to translate requirements into robust designs and solutions.
Support CI/CD, release management and DevOps practices to improve deployment quality.
