Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to provide technical support across Retail Pharmacy operations. You will interpret prescriptions, use pharmacy software and POS systems, and assist with insurance billing, inventory management and distribution.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed for work-related duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Two years recent retail pharmacy experience.
• Vermont State Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for all Retail Pharmacy services and assist the pharmacist as needed.
• Interpret and enter physician orders / prescriptions.
• Utilize pharmacy software and point of sale applications.

Pay Range: $19.97 - 29.09
