Retail Operations Manager
Lincoln, Full time, Permanent
Circa £40,000 (plus £3k bonus and uncapped overtime)

Our Lincoln based Client is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to join their Senior Management Team whilst also being a very hands-on & dynamic leader, with a methodical mind who works well in a fast-paced environment.

THE ROLE

The ideal Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for the retail function, which also includes customer service and goods in. You must be a strong and clear communicator. This is a varied role and the responsibilities include:

1. Create workload plans across your department.
2. Oversee courier dispatches.
3. Ensure high standards are maintained.
4. Be dynamic in managing workload, meeting both your personal & team deadlines.
5. Recruit and train staff to consistently uphold high standards.
6. Manage new starter paperwork, H&S inductions, and training plans.
7. Evaluate daily workload and handle staff briefings.
8. Create staff workload plans, complete staff reviews.
9. Overseeing site maintenance.
10. Liaising with a wide range of external suppliers.
11. Getting involved with project management and research.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful Retail Operations Manager will have the desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be highly organised. Other attributes required are:

1. Efficiently manage multiple workloads during busy times.
2. Plan strategies and delegate tasks, overseeing detail-oriented completion.
3. Manage a diverse retail team with ease.
4. Take ownership and drive projects to successful completion independently.
5. Ensure smooth operations with meticulous organisation and adaptability.
6. Communicate effectively paying attention to detail while proactively communicating.
7. Be proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and IT systems for streamlined processes.
8. Be results-driven, set KPIs, implement incentives, and lead the sales team to exceed targets.
