Job summary

City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician (AST) to service electrical and mechanical plant in retail outlets across Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire. The role covers PPMs, reactive repairs, and minor non-electrical tasks during planned store visits.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2, City & Guilds 18th Edition, and AM2/2391 qualification. A full driving license is preferred and there is a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition.
• AM2 / 2391.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance at customer sites (e.g., door repairs, plumbing tasks, flooring).
• Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.
• Perform emergency lighting tests and repairs.
• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment across retail sites, coordinating with helpdesk.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise on replacements.
