Job summary

Retail & Asset Solutions is seeking a Retail Minibus Driver based in Wembley to transport a small team of stock counters between shifts at various retail sites. The role includes coordinating pick-up points, supervising boarding, and ensuring timely on-site arrival while maintaining safety and professionalism.

You will count stock on-site using a handheld scanner, work long shifts, and earn £14.34 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) plus driving time.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work long shifts and unsociable hours.
• Able to work with a quick learning curve as the technology changes.
• Stock handling experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation of a small team to and from shifts within your region.
• Coordinate pick-up points and timings for each shift.
• Notify and escalate any vehicle issues promptly.
• Complete a team attendance sheet with attendance and arrival times.
• Count stock on-site using a handheld scanner.
• Stand for long periods and use equipment to reach high stock.

Salary: £14.34 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.80 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay) + Driving Time

Location: Wembley

(8-10hour stock count shifts + your driving time paid)

The Role

• We are looking for a Retail Minibus Driver to add to our already successful team.
• This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region
• Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
• You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift
• Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
• Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
• Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 25 years.
• This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
• You must have a ‘can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
