Job summary

Expd8 Limited is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser based near Worcester to service The Entertainer concession within Tesco Worcester. You will ensure fixtures and displays are set up, products are well-stocked, and promotions are executed to drive visibility and sales.

The role involves working mainly within Tesco Worcester (St Peters) with occasional cross-category merchandising across Books, Entertainment, Health and Beauty. A full UK driving license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising and retail is required or highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and take initiative.
• Willing to handle stock movement and light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures and displays according to planograms.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and products are neatly presented.
• Execute promotions and point-of-sale displays.
• Maintain strong relationships with store colleagues and managers.
• Deliver home POS stock deliveries when required (paid extras).

Job description

We're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the WR5 3SW, area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working primarily within The Entertainer concession within Tesco. There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Health and Beauty.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

This role will primarily be based within Tesco Worcester (St Peters).

Working Hours

Confirmed working hours: 8

Monday 08:00 - 10:00Thursday 08:00 -12:30Saturday 16:00 - 17:30

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

How you'll deliver excellence

• Expert at the Entertainer
• You'll know the Entertainer brand and products inside and out, and more importantly, share that knowledge with your team!
• Compliance and Standards
• You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment
• You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
• You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.

Strong communication and relationship building

• You'll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!

• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling! You'll need to move and arrange our products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• Are willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (you’ll be paid extra to do so)
• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is a bonus
