Job summary

eXPD8 is seeking a Retail Merchandiser based in the Romford area to deliver high-quality field activity across assigned stores. You will set up, maintain, and check product displays on a tight schedule, ensuring compliance with client briefs, safety standards and quality expectations.

You'll work independently with regular contact to your District Team Leader, providing clear updates and photos for client reporting, and you may have opportunities to move to permanent roles and to work across

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (if needed).
• Experience in merchandising, retail, or customer service.
• Good at organizing your own work and managing your time.
• Comfortable working on your own and following instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to use a smartphone or tablet for reporting.
• Understand basic health and safety.
• Be honest, respectful, and positive.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores on schedule to set up and maintain product displays
• Follow instructions (planograms) and client guidelines for each visit
• Make sure displays look great, are safe, and meet company and legal standards
• Take clear photos and write short reports after each visit using company systems
• Let your Team Leader know if you run into problems (like missing stock or access issues)
• Build good relationships with store staff and represent the company professionally
• Keep up with any required training or certifications
• Complete all store visits on time
• Follow instructions and keep displays looking their best

eXPD8, are excited to ne looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the Romford area.

Hours: 10 hours

• Saturday 07:00 - 10:00
• Tuesday 06:00 - 09:00
• Friday 06:00 - 10:00

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

This is a fixed term contract that ends 30 December 2026, however there would be opportunity for the right candidate to move to permanent work.

There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Toys and General Merchandising.

As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field activity across assigned retail stores. You will set up, maintain, and check product displays to make sure each visit is completed accurately, safely, and on time, in line with client briefs, service level agreements, and quality standards.

Working in the store, the Retail Merchandiser will follow daily schedules and client instructions, using your judgement and attention to detail to deliver consistent in-store execution. You will work independently while keeping in regular contact with your District Team Leader to flag any risks, resolve issues, and keep activity on track.

As the Retail Merchandiser you will also act as the eyes and ears in store, providing clear written updates and photographs that support client reporting, insight, and continuous improvement.
