We're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the PR2 6BX area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working primarily within The Entertainer concession within Tesco. There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Health and Beauty.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This role will primarily be based within Tesco Preston.

Confirmed working hours: 8

Monday - 08.00 - 10.30
Thursday - 08.00 - 12.30
Saturday - 15.30 - 14.30

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

• Expert at the Entertainer: You'll know the Entertainer brand and products inside and out, and share that knowledge with your team!
• Compliance and Standards: You'll adhere to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidance. Follow and implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: Arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and special offers effectively.
• Strong communication and relationship building: Build and maintain good relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers. Provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application.

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently within set time frames, using initiative to find solutions.
• Take pride in delivering high standards and service for our clients.
• Comfortable with manual handling; moving and arranging products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (additional pay).
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks.
• A full UK driving license and access to a car are required.
