Job summary

CPM United Kingdom Limited is seeking a Merchandiser to cover the Porthmadog area in North Wales. The role involves visiting stores to carry out merchandising tasks, restocking, and setting up eye-catching displays.

Flexible Mon-Sun hours with fixed Tue, Thu and Sat visits, and a starting onboarding period with ongoing work available. Hourly pay is £15.07 PAYE including holiday pay; candidates must have a car and be comfortable working independently across a 10-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or merchandising.
• Ability to manage stock, planograms, and POS materials.
• Good communication with store staff and customers.
• Own car and clean driving licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks and audits.
• Set up POS materials and ensure displays follow planograms.
• Keep shelves stocked and displays eye-catching to drive sales.
• Negotiate additional display space where possible; report via app with photos.

About this job

We are looking for Merchandisers in the Porthmadog area.

Approx 4 - 6 hours per week* (However likely to increase during busy periods) £15.07 p/h PAYE including holiday pay.

Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training with long-term, ongoing work available.

Flexible working across Monday to Sunday with some fixed days

• Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Ideal experience would be in retail or merchandising

• health & beauty would be beneficial
• supporting new launches, refreshes, or promotional activity.

Use of a car is essential.

Ideal location: Porthmadog, United Kingdom, LL49 Territory covering: Porthmadog & Pwllheli (you will be required to cover stores within 10 miles of here) and surrounding What You'll Be Doing: Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point-of-sale (POS) materials.

Confidently navigating fixtures (e.g. gondolas, bays, shelving) Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms.

Make sure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to help drive sales and keep displays looking great.

Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays so they're eye-catching and easy for customers to find.

Where possible, negotiate extra display space to help boost sales.

Some stock moving and lifting may be involved from time to time.

What we're looking for: Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising.

Experience in retailers such as Boots, department stores, or premium beauty chains is desirable.

Someone who is available Monday to Sunday.

We do have fixed visits to be completed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy working independently.

Confident talking to store staff and building good in-store relationships.

Takes pride in their work.

Use your own car, as you may need to carry promotional materials or small displays (these may be delivered and stored to your home). Use of a phone or tablet to complete reporting on our app
