Job summary

eXPD8 is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to work primarily within The Entertainer concession in Tesco Hayes, UB2 5LN. This part-time role involves ensuring fixtures are set up, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.

Hours are 14 per week with shifts as outlined; you may do ad hoc work as agreed. A full UK driving licence is required to travel between stores and support deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to take ownership and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to perform manual handling tasks.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Comfortable using a company tablet to download briefs and capture information.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures and displays to showcase products and promotions.
• Follow planograms and merchandising standards.
• Replenish shelves and manage stock movements within store.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices and offers.
• Build good relationships with store staff and provide timely feedback.

Job description

We're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Hayes Bull the UB2 5LN area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working primarily within The Entertainer concession within Tesco. There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Health and Beauty,

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This role will primarily be based within UB2 5LN.

Confirmed working hours: 14 hours

Monday 08:00am-12:00pm
Tuesday 09:00am-12:00pm
Wednesday 09:00am-12:00pm
Thursday 08:00am-12:00pm

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

How you'll deliver excellence:

• Expert at the Entertainer
• You'll know the Entertainer brand and products inside and out, and more importantly, share that knowledge with your team!
• Compliance and Standards
• You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment
• You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
• You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.

Strong communication and relationship building

• You'll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!

• Are willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (you'll be paid extra to do so)
• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is required
