Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?

If so, at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Lewisham Road in the SE13 7PY area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This role will involve work across a variety of categories including general merchandising, which could include books, gift cards, and cosmetics.

Confirmed working days/hours: 10 hours per week.

Monday: 8:00am to 11:00am

Thursday: 8:00am to 12:00pm

Friday: 9:00am to 12:00pm

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

Responsibilities:

1. Compliance and Standards: You'll follow merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidance. You'll implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance.
2. Product Placement and Replenishment: You'll organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
3. Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You'll set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers effectively.
4. Relationship Building: You'll build and maintain good relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly managers, and provide feedback to our client teams via our feedback application.

• Ability to work independently within set timeframes and find solutions proactively
• Pride in delivering high standards and service
• Willingness to handle manual tasks, including moving products from warehouse to shopfloor
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items (additional pay)
• Comfortable using a company tablet for tasks such as downloading briefs, taking photos, and answering questions
• A full UK driving license and access to a car
