Job summary

eXPD8 is seeking a Retail Merchandiser based in the Litherland area, working across multiple stores in the region. You will ensure fixtures are set up effectively, promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.

The role covers books, toys and gift cards, with 5 hours per week (Monday and Thursday) plus ad hoc work. You will travel between stores, handle stock, and communicate with store managers to maintain high merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Own driving license and access to a car.
• Comfortable moving stock and product handling.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures and ensure promotions are displayed attractively.
• Place and replenish products on shelves to maximise visibility.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices and offers.
• Maintain merchandising standards and follow store policies and safety guidance.
• Build good relationships with store colleagues and provide feedback to client teams.

You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores. About the role:

How you'll deliver excellence:

• Compliance and Standards
• You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment
• You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
• You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?, Strong communication and relationship building
• You'll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Thrive having ownership of your own work within set time frames, using your own initiative to find solutions
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients
• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling! You'll need to move and arrange our products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• Are willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (you'll be paid extra to do so)
• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is required
